Honeymoon gives you the opportunity to know each other very well. Usually people get busy with their daily work after marriage and they forget about the magic of marriage. Honeymoon is a few days off the monotonous life.

What about me?, I love beach and sun, Hawaii is for me an excellent honeymoon destination...what about yours?, not sure yet? Continue reading to know what you should consider before deciding your romantic honeymoon destination.

The most popular honeymoon destinations are the Caribbean islands, Australia, Bahamas, Antigua, Jamaica, Switzerland, the Islands of Italy (especially Capri), Greece, Scotland, ethnic city of Rajasthan (India) Gods own city Kerala (India), Singapore, Kualalumpore, Dubai, Paris, etc.

Planning your honeymoon trip

While planning your honeymoon, you should give priority to those activities that are enjoyable for you both. If you are looking to diving you should consider Australia. If you like the adventure of the dense forests, then Africa is a very recommended destination. India holidays are always pleasant, because this country offers a lot of emotion in his desert, hills and plains, historic cities and stunning beaches. People who love the historical sites are free to choose between Greece and Italy. I could continue with other countries like Spain or Japan...but you both have to enjoy the honeymoon destination.

The next step is very important, we have to decide what accommodation will be comfortable for us, and what can we afford. Honeymoon hotels are a good option for those who have decided to be in full romance and decide not to venture in the city. For such people, room service is always ready. But take in consideration that being forever in such hotels can be monotonous for some people. The advantage of staying in hotels is that most popular hotels can provide with many attractions for the tourists even without getting outside the hotel area.

Resorts are always preferable to honeymoon couples. However, these spas are expensive. There are tourists offers for hiring kayaks, practicing golf or tennis, and many other advantages. If you decide in getting to a holiday resort, take special attention to the dates, we don´t want children running around.

Rural tourism may be the best accommodation for many of you. The rent varies depending on the location, size and decorations of the cabin.

As you can see, the honeymoon accommodation may also depends on your destination. Some honeymoon destinations may require romantic cabins, while other popular destinations may offer a wide selection of the most luxury and romantic hotels and resorts.

A romantic honeymoon can not be complete without the long hours of sun bathing on the beach (pool is also a good choice). Why not having a romantic diner at the beach or the pool at night?

You should also consider distances if you are going to get out of your hotel, what I recommend...it can be boring to be inside a room for more than 3 days ;-). You may need to rent a car...and about a holiday car hire?

Remember to consider where are you going for honeymoon and when, try to avoid family holidays dates and places if you dont want children running around.

What to see in Hawaii during our honeymoon?

• Oahu is the most populated island of Hawaii. The largest city is Honolulu, with its tropical botanical garden. You can also visit Waikiki is the main tourist center, where most hotels and famous beaches are. Also in this island we can find Pearl Harbor, naval Bay where there are remains of sunken ships of the attack in 1941. And finally, Diamond Head is a volcanic cone which became the tourist symbol of the island.
• Maui, an island with two volcanoes and a valley in between, very fertile and with a distinctive green. It is ideal to rent a car in Maui and cross it in full (77 km x 42 km). Worth visiting the Bay Kapalua. Kaanapali to see whales. Wailea for those who want quiet beaches, play golf and enjoy a microclimate. It is without doubt the most relaxed island. It's worth taking a boat tour that includes Turtle Island and Molokini Crater.
• The Big Island of Hawaii has the largest variety of climates and geographies, active volcanoes, desolate lava fields and even snow-capped peaks. Kilauea is the most active volcano on the world with a continuous flow of lava that has lasted over 16 years. You can reach one of the many points where you see the constant eruption. Worth a look, especially at night. The island has excellent beaches and some nightlife for the tourist.  I can recommend flying over the volcano with an helicopter if you dare!
• Kauai is the most peaceful of all the islands, a haven. It has some amazing landscapes and beautiful beaches, the downside is that there are many beaches where is very dangerous to swim, so there are few beaches on this island where you can go. Anyway, as an option to get away from the tourist crowds, this is a ideal place!
• Molokai is the hidden island, very quiet and less known. It is an island where you can make many walks through secluded beaches and fishing as main attraction.
• Lanai is a private island belonging to the airline of the same name, there are day trips, very few accommodation offers and it is really expensive this area of Hawaii.
